There’s a brand new hiking trail in Telluride for 2020 that leads up to Bridal Veil Falls. The trailhead begins at the parking area near the Idarado Mine ponds and extends 1.2 miles to the base of falls. The new route ushers hikers on a single track trail on the southern side of the valley closer to Ingram Creek; allowing hikers not only to avoid vehicular traffic on the existing jeep road that leads to the falls, but to have a close up of two other smaller waterfalls that are impressive in their own right.
The hike is is moderately strenuous and while it does not require any technical expertise, there is a fair and constant amount of stepping up / climbing down over boulders and such.
